Q:C3832 > How can I bring my AXIS Network Video Door Station online?

We have made the installation process as smooth and easy as possible. Our secure Cloud server will upload, license and configure the necessary Indoor Station ACAP software module to your AXIS A8004-VE or A8105-E Network Video Door Station. Normally it is just two steps to bring your door station online.

1.) Go to the web-interface section "Setup > Basic Setup > Users" from your AXIS A8004-VE or AXIS A8105-E Network Video Door Station and set the password for the user "root" to "pass".

2.) Go to the web-interface section "Setup > System Options > Advanced > Plain Config" from your AXIS Network Video Door Station and select the group "RemoteService". On the upcoming page set "Enabled" to "Yes".

3.) Make sure that you fulfill all Network Connection requirements.

4.) Go to the web-interface section "Setup > System Options > Network > TCP/IP" and for the DNS Server to "Setup > System Options > Network > TCP/IP > Advanced" from your AXIS A8004-VE or A8105-E Network Video Door Station and make sure that the IP-Address details are correct (IP address, Subnet mask, Default router, DNS-Server). We recommend to use DHCP.

5.) Go to www.indoorstation.com/activate to install and license the ACAP software module to your door station.
